Melanie Anton Def is an Argentine designer, art director, set designer and director.

who was born on September 30 in Buenos Aires.

Melanie studied Visual and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires and graduated in 2018.

Since then, she has been working in music videos, commercials and film as an art director and also as a director.

In 2019 he started working with Agustin Jauregui (industrial designer) and they both created DAJAUS. . They have worked together on over 200 productions featuring over 60 different music artists and 40 brands. In 2021, in Madrid (Spain) they worked on Eduardo Casanova's latest film, La Piedad. The film won awards at 5 different film festivals (such as Fantastic Fest in Texas, Karlovy Vary film festival in the Czech Republic, Fantasia Festival in Montreal, Cine Ceará in Brazil or Strasbourg Film Festival) and has been nominated for best art direction at the GOYA Awards 2023. 

Currently, her latest directing work is the series of 11 music videos for Hotel Miranada! which won the award for Best Long Format and Best Art Direction at the Video Prisma Awards 2023.

On the other hand, in addition to working in the audiovisual field, Melanie is currently dedicated to

creative and general direction of live shows and the creation of AI art pieces.
